Glenna Smith is the founder and lead practitioner at Coastal Psychiatry and Wellness LLC. With over 20 years of nursing experience, she brings a robust foundation to her work as a dually autonomous board certified nurse practitioner, specializing in psychiatric mental health care and comprehensive wellness services.
She earned her Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from Liberty University and her Family Nurse Practitioner certification from South University. Her career has spanned inpatient and outpatient settings, emergency rooms, maximum security prisons, assisted living facilities, and supporting survivors of sex trafficking. She is also passionate about serving firefighters, police, and military personnel, creating tailored treatment plans for anxiety, depression, trauma, and more. This diverse expertise fuels her dedication to listening and meeting your unique needs.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and farm animals, saltwater fishing, and gardening—passions that keep her grounded. At Coastal, your mental well-being is her mission—let’s start your journey to wellness together.

Daeryl Williamson, PMHNP-BC
Daeryl Williamson, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of nursing experience, including more than 6 years practicing as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. She earned her Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and has since dedicated her career to providing compassionate, person-centered mental health care.

With expertise in treating mood disorders, thought disorders, anxiety, trauma, and related conditions, Daeryl focuses on caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. She is committed to helping individuals achieve balance and thrive through a collaborative, evidence-based approach to treatment.
As an autonomous practitioner, Daeryl values building trusting relationships with her patients and tailoring care to meet each person’s unique needs and goals.
Outside of her professional practice, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and baking, but most of all, cherishes time spent with her husband and four children.
